I got rid of my 2017 2 door JK last year and I rolled around with the top off all the time down here in AZ. I had black cloth, but I got a set of Bartact Neoprene seat covers and they were AMAZING. Save the money, get cloth, and either get seat covers or Katskinz if you want leather down the road. You can always add something to cloth seats, you're never going to rip the leather off to go cloth. Just my $0.02.

The only way I'll get the leather is if it's a color or colors I like and it has the Bronco logo on the top of the seats. And even then it will have to be under $1000 or it's Katzkin for me.

Reserved the Outer Banks and would love to get the leather. I live in the middle of Texas and have leather now. Yes I get burned on the regular but it beats stained seats with 2 dogs who drool everywhere! Beauty is pain. :)

Definitely more of a non-issue for those in colder states. ;) A/C can't save us in the southern states in the first 10-15 min in the car. Still worth the leather for me though.

I like both, they both have their merits. Cloth to me generally is more comfortable, but quality leather is just fine too. I have leather in my '17 escape, and I love it. Its comfortable, and so easy to clean.

I live in sunny AZ and would still take leather over cloth any day. I just dont want any more of those damn black interiors they force us with, what happen to having some options!?

Gimme that white interior ?

Here’s a question that someone may be able to clarify. Are the optional 10 way driver and 8 way passenger seats available for cloth?

I live in Texas and have no issue with leather seats.

When u look under outer banks seating options on fords site it shows the power seats next to the leather option so imo i would say no to cloth power seats

Thanks everyone. Cloth it is! Nice to save money as well.
I’ve struggled with this decision too. But, considering having the top down In summer temp and I’ve had leather seats crack, I’m leaning towards preferring cloth in this type of vehicle
