My vote is they are working on the Heritage Edition Bronco interior.
Don't worry the material and paint will be limited quantity so there is a chance people wont get it til MY23. They there will be a sneak peek for MY23 features causing people to wait another year anyways. Its a viscous cycle
I seriously do not understand why Ford thinks that cutesy fake homemade-style video marketing, vague non-answers, and clues! for future stuff is fun for people trying to order. Maybe, and that is a big maybe, it had a brief place before the reveal, but the decision to continue (assuming they have any idea what the are doing in advance) is disrespectful to those who are asking what they see as serious questions about a major purchase for most of us. I do not expect them to reveal color changes from year to year in advance, nobody does that, but enough with the Easter eggs, let's get to the chickens. Order banks are opening this week, do dealers even have the detailed (accurate) information on the basic options (like tops) to answer common questions? I haven't seen any evidence of that. Wish I could say I have confidence it will all work out smoothly before March 19th and not be a cluster... umm, headache at the end, but I just don't see it.
I'm usually sad that you can only get black and grey interiors. Now I'm probably not going to buy a bronco until they give me something that isn't so ugly. I know with the reflections off the dash I won't be able to see much of it, but it's still horrible.
The same article that had this picture had this quote from Missy that I ‘love’.
“It’s easy for people to think color and materials just make [a vehicle] look good, but the adamant pushing of Paul [Wraith] to go further and to think of it as an industrial design project rather than car design was really beneficial.”
