There's a reason Ford won't put the manual box in the Sasquatch. Because it can't handle it. Now you want to tune it? Great formula.
Look's like a lot of folks here have deep pockets so they don't care about their warranty. But I guess all the deep pockets can't afford the 2.7?
This guy 🤣

37” tires from 35” tires is certainly not an “added 100 pounds” maybe 10 each would be appropriate
I guess you have never read the weights of these 37's? The 35" MT's are 52 pounds each. I think 100 pounds is spot on...

Same manual transmission, same 2.3. Your logic is flawed and uninformed.
Not my logic. It's Ford's. Why don't you talk to them.
Or maybe you know more...

Go read what I wrote carefully. And okay maybe 100lbs is a bit of hyperbole, but its way more than 10lbs.
Maybe?
With a four or a six?
Different tranny?
Not maybe has been confirmed for a year or more at this point. They're not making a manual did and ford isn't going to develop a whole new transmission this that would cost way to much money

This will be fun. I will probably wait until the warranty period is up, but I will eventually tune it.

Cobb has quality, safe tunes that the industry trusts. If Ford has a quality tune that is covered by warranty, I might go that route also.

Rice pudding and Mr Nice,

Lol, okay. If you say so. However I did post the weight differences between GY MTR’s 35’s and 37’s. MFG must be wrong too.
It’s pretty obvious that some people here really are not the experts they think they are.

Your looking at the wrong tires. Check out the 35 MT's that come with the Sasquatch, they are 52 pounds...

You're focusing on half of my original statement instead of the whole thing.

Let me help you out a little

100lbs of unsprung weight on each corner with 37s and heavier wheels

I can't believe all the folks that think tuning this already over worked engine is a good idea. Kiss your warranty good bye. People, read the Ranger/Focus RS forums if you want to see your future.

Why not just get the 2.7?
The 10r60 is going to be the problem.
