New topic time! (I'm not interested in talking about burgers and music choices)

Living in the frigid wasteland that is Canada, I'm hoping for a cold weather package for the Bronco as a factory option, to include:

-Block heater
-Windshield wiper de-icers
-Heated side mirrors
-Heated headlight housings or headlight washers (LEDs don't produce enough heat to melt snow/ice buildup by themselves)

What sort of similar equipment is available for other Ford vehicles, and do you expect that we'll see something like this on the Bronco?

I wear long pants and gloves. Seems to work pretty well.

Block heater isn't as important in MD, but heated mirrors and wiper de-icers would be extremely nice to have. Also heated seats and heated steering wheel because why not.
Yeah, heated (and ventilated) seats and heated wheel I'd like too, though that's more of a comfort thing. Block heaters are pretty well straight up required if you're leaving the vehicle outside much north of the border, and the other things will keep you from having to pull over and de-ice stuff manually.

Do you put pants and gloves on your engine to keep the oil from turning to molasses as well? :p

At the risk of having my man card revoked. Heated seats and steering wheel, amazing stuff.
Yeah no, we can't let that pass. Sorry....

You know, when I Walked out this morning to an extremely chilly 45°F, I really wished that I had remote started and a butt warmer. And without a block heater it took 7 minutes for that big diesel to heat up enough for the heater to really kick in!

I leave the heater in my car off no matter how cold it is because i'm always already wearing a jacket (and i'm lazy).

Especially with open air driving, heated seats/steering wheel is great, and I want A/C seats too. Not everybody lives in cold climates.

Y'know, I used to think for the longest time that heated seats and heated steering wheels were options not worth buying. "I have a jacket, I'll be fine" or "I can just wear gloves till things warm up, we're gucci". But MAN the first time I drove a car with those options my feelings were changed right away. Love me a seat warmer. :giggle:

I'm the one walking around outside in a blizzard in a t-shirt while everyone screetches "aren't you cold, how can you do that" ... but I still want the seat, steering wheel, wiper, block, and lense warmers. Sometimes it's -40 with a -100 wind chill and I don't feel like roughing it.
