Spent the last 3 days in my garage messing with all sorts of stuff and ended up doing the ambient cup holder and cubby lights. I will say I was not prepared for what it took to make that new cup holder fit. As there aren’t detailed instructions anywhere, it was a long and meticulous process because if it ended up looking off it would drive me crazy to the point I would rip it out. It turned out pretty well though.
I did some DIY ambient lighting for under the dash, all 4 seat and the rear cargo instead of ordering all the OEM color changing lights. I made my own splitters and connectors to hook everything together. Took a long time to pin everything out and make it look factory but it was cheaper than buying it online. Plus I have everything to make 30 more if I needed them. Thanks Amazon. I liked the blue color so the cup holder and cubby are still tied into the factory wiring and I tied the rest into my Scosche switch panel and programmed it so I can dim or brighten them.
Appreciate everyone’s poss and input on everything! Few pics from how it turned out.
