I don't have the thread at my fingertips....but I believe the initial PHOTOS we saw were of a prelim top made in Germany. The final top is made in USA and is supposedly darker than Gordo's pic above. Its been referred to as blackish - with a hint of blue. BUT Ford just changed the MIC top on the colorizer & it still looks grey to me!The Ford website lists the hard top as Grey but all other components as Black

Maybe we are in the minority here but I agree. I actually love the gray. I don’t mind the contrast to the black handles, trail sights, bumpers, etc. Would I prefer matte or satin black? Sure, but I still love the gray. I’d also love to see white tops rolling around town. Such a classic look. I’d also love to see soft top two doors running around as well, but such is life. I’m just so stoked to see this vehicle as a reality, I’m probably more forgiving of things not offered on the Bronco than I would be on an existing vehicle like the f150, or Wrangler/Gladiator.I like the gray hardtop - fine with the color. I wouldn't care for gloss black. Maybe more of a semi/flat black hardtop as on my Jeep would be ok. White looks cool, and while I wouldn't go that route, hoping Ford offers white because I'd like to see those driving around. Kind of a classic style.
Mighta been....but BC wasn't the guy who seemed to know about the original working models from germanyWas that the @BroncoChicken thread where he saw one by his hotel room
I have a couple of problems with it.I think the gray top looks great with the cyber orange and many of the other colors but a lot of people don’t seem to like it
I have no idea about the claims of bluish black, grey, black, or white. I only know I saw one that is definitely grey MIC and one that is definitely black MIC.Was that the @BroncoChicken thread where he saw one by his hotel room
Nothing to talk about. It either becomes an option or it doesn't. We'll just have to wait. Why arent we talking about the white top as well? Or have some people written that off?
Both you guys outrank me, as I'm just watching from the peanut gallery....but here's the post from Bronco Guy:I have no idea about the claims of bluish black, grey, black, or white. I only know I saw one that is definitely grey MIC and one that is definitely black MIC.
I can't speak to every early prototype MIC top that might be floating around on test mules as they were made in Germany before the tooling was shipped to the USA. All I can say with absolute certainty is that there is now one color available and it's the blueish black one I've mentioned.BroncoChicken said:
Absolutely admitting that I may not have seen all of the MIC tops, I can tell you that the one on the black 2-door Sasquatch was black. No hint of blue. The one on the cactus grey 4-door Sasquatch was grey. Not a faded black, but MIC grey.
