Don’t know if this is widely know, but got this response on Twitter. So I guess to have a “flat loading surface” in the 2 door we’ll have to go custom?

Isn’t Mike Levine the one that said there would be sliding trays for both?

So far, this is the largest let down from any of the actual answered questions. I really loved that feature, but wanted it in a 2DR.

Ditto. This was 100% going to be part of my Bronco and I'm bummed it's not going to be possible.

The reason this sucks so much is this means dog owners basically cant get a 2 door unless there is a solution to this. or if your dog is extremely well behaved and manueverable

Aftermarket should have something. If not, the seats are definitely coming out!
Totally.. I mean, why even have rear seats in a 2door? can anyone other than kids even get in there? :))

I have seen them available for jeeps. Also these trays are super easy to make. Heavy duty sliders are like $70 for 500lb rating. If you can weld, bend, or brake, you are halfway there. If not just use wood.

Yeah, this would push me closer to the "no deal" decision if I am honest. If you can't easily move the seats in and out, the seats lay at an incline, has a massive 4 inch shelf, and can't be leveled with a handy tray then I am quite disappointed.

If I am shelling out and waiting on aftermarket modifications for a brand new car then it should be the kind of mod that makes it go beyond the standard, not so that it can reach the standard. That's the sign of buying a bad design.
