Considering buying a Bronco... how bad are the rattles?

If you are coming from a wrangler then it shouldn't be anything new. I came from a 2018 JL Sahara Wrangler soft top and I was not surprised by any of the noises. Its typical sounds from bumps in the road. If anything, the bronco manages the road and road sounds better. I have a 23 Badlands Hardtop. My younger brother, who drives a new Audi QS4, has driven both my wrangler and bronco. After the first drive, he said the bronco was a significantly better driving vehicle all around. That it is the best off road driving vehicle. It's not silent, if that is what you are expecting.

Only rattle I have noticed turned out to be my son's car seat. Not sure if getting the additional sound deadening helped that, but I have yet to notice any real ones from the car itself.

4DR Soft top...no rattles but like everyone else has said, wind noise but nothing some good music can't overcome.

I've got an 2009 JK Wrangler Sahara. Had a squeak above the radio since day 38. Dealer couldn't fix, etc. 2017 F-150 King Ranch. Got some rear seat rattles/squeaks. If you want a Cadillac, or better then that's what you should buy. These are not that, and will never be. Had a 2004 TJ Sport. Take it off road the top would squeak for a week or so. Put all new seals around the top, same thing. I drove a 23 Bronoc the other day, with soft top. Folks complain it is so loud you need muffs to drive on the xway, not true. If you want the truck buy the truck. If the squeaks bug you then you can find someone that will pay you 20% more then MSRP. :0)

The rear door on mine makes a popping noise, but I suspect it will be eliminated when I install a strengthening plate on it. My aftermarket tires are very heavy and I plan to add a gas can as well.

The bigger problem for me is a whistling noise on the highway coming from the hard top. It has poorly aligned weatherseals and the dealership won't do anything about it.

Just picked up my 4-door OBX with hard top last week, and drove it >600 miles home, all interstate driving at approx. 75mph average. Some expected wind noise, yes, but no squeaks or rattles. So far, knock on wood, it's great!

My 2 door only has 211 miles but it does not rattle or squeak at all. I expected a floppy rattle trap given some of the horror stories.

The Ford drawer assembly picked up a squeak. I’m going to pull the drawer out and tighten everything back down. If that doesn’t fix it I’m returning to the dealer.

If I still lived in Michigan where the roads are consistently awful, the soft top might be too much. In North Carolina it’s not too bad.

I have 22 4dr Black Diamond, Hardtop. Maybe I'm lucky, but I don't have any rattles. I'm happy with the built quality. I do have wind noise especially in cross winds, but not to bad.

I have a 23 BB with a hardtop. I haven’t noticed any rattles in the first couple of months. The wind noise is no worse than my G6 convertible and I keep the radio at volume 7 or 8.

it’s a great vehicle. I love it so far!

Is it as quite as my Expedition? No.
Is it louder than my Mustang, also No.

Worst rattle was the rear seat belt. So, I just plugged it in.

Wind noise is a given what I can't tolerate is rattle of loose/poorly designed panels and seals.

After owning my 2dr Hardtop for less than two months my passenger window is rattling, not to mention I get the occasional hood ajar alert, and now service 4x4 alert and unable to change driving modes.....wonderful!
