When a new car is going to come out do consumers usually complain this much? I am pretty excited about the bronco but now I kinda wish they just waited to tell us what you can have instead of everyone complaining and creating petitions for the options they want.

Make the best of what they are offering or get something else.
Yeah, it's annoying.

Not to point out the thread creator as part of this category, but since the reveal I have seen quite a bit of "concern trolling" on this forum. There are the usual suspects that pop in from time to time but it's mostly newer users creating threads. I'm not saying that not having manual with sasquatch isn't a valid concern, but there is a 40+ page thread on it with good discussion that is always Page 1 in General.

The only thing I can think of that may curb threads like these are if Administrator imposes a thread creation limitation until you hit a post-count threshold. I just don't buy that someone can take the time to create a thread but not read the titles on page 1 to see there's a lengthy discussion on the exact topic they're concerned about that they could participate in.
I agree to an extent. It's very annoying about the 18 threads asking the same questions, but I will defend new posters some, as this place has been VERY active especially since reveal, and threads can get pushed back to the 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th page relatively quickly, BUT, it's clear people are too lazy to search for what they want to know, and they'll then just make a thread.

That said, I really do think that repeat threads could be merged with the older thread and/or locked with a post made with a link to the other identical thread.

I’m a v8 fan but after researching the twin turbo 2.7 v6 is a perfect candidate for the new bronco and I thought I would never say that. The v6 is lighter and makes great torque at 3000. The v8 would require stiffer front suspension and probably would flex as good off-road and not handle as well on the light weight frame platform. The 302 in early bronco didn’t have much power
The whole point of my question was around the V8 making a teeny bit less torque than the 2.7, and that teeny bit too much torque is precisely why it can't be paired with the manual transmission. But it does make about 100 more hp. The topic I see over and over is about the failure of Ford to make sure there is a second better option that can be paired with the manual trans, and this seems like a good alternative that would answer multiple gripes about features not offered.

As for the weight difference, thats only 50lb. Adding a winch, or putting an aftermarket bumper on the front will make a bigger difference than the weight difference between those two engines. If you've seen Ranger videos you will know this truck based frame is already silly rigid to withstand internaitonal load ratings much higher than those given in the US. So weight difference of 50lb between two engines being an excuse is a silly argument.

Biggest thing for me right now is the 2.7 with the manual. Seems quite a few are forgetting the fun in modifying your own steed. ?? so corny but still true.

The way I see it, this is a double death nail for my pre order.
It's death knell which is like "for whom the bell tolls" when they rang a bell when someone died.

I think I've resigned myself to getting a Badlands with the presumed-factory 2 inch body lift and 37s setup like the one being flexed by Ford in the yellow...excuse me, cyber orange 2-door.

If what you say is true then the Sasquatch package on the Badlands makes it the tallest trim correct?
Only because the Sasquatch comes with 35s not 33s. The suspension is the same on the badlands and the Sasquatch package according to Ford.
