The amount of issues we need to remember and check for are driving a need for our own checklist. This is getting ridiculous.

Ya, got 0 Ford Points, 0 Customer Satisfaction anything. My Ford account doesn't even acknowledge that I own the vehicle, and my Warranty started 30 Oct 2021, despite delivery today. @Ford Motor Company great customer experience, my vehicle has so much dirt in it that I think I can start my own mini dirt mountain.

I did, at least, get a full tank of gas. I still have to zip tie the hose (I live 1.5 miles from the dealership and it was too late to do a proper inspection, they just wanted me gone because it was a courtesy delivery).

BTW, that's a great list.

I checked my clamp and it was released. All of the spring type clamps also had a inspection paint mark on them and the hose.
Mine was in production September 9 thru October 4........so they had plenty of time for quality control checks

Already in process.
I see now a pair of long needle-nosed pliers needs to be added.
So far a tool bag with:
Socket set up to 19mm
2 pair channel locks
…….
There is a spring clamp tool that works better than pliers, especially where you have limited access. I got one when I replaced the engine in my F150. Worked great.
This is what I got, there are others:
Astro Pneumatic Tool 9409A Hose Clamp Pliers

One of the big reasons, of course, that I don't think it such a bad thing that we won't be getting a 2021, is that I see the 2021 as the “beta test” version, where I hope all the significant bugs will be found and corrected before they build our 2022.
I'm being optimistic with my 2021 Bronco. I've had the first model year of the Saturn Ion and the Chrysler 200 and haven't had any major issues and only a couple minor issues.

I highly recommend customers do either do there own extensive PDI and full 172+ point inspection or bring someone who can. Demand it is put up on a lift and check/test every single visible component on the vehicle from underneath to top and front to rear. If the dealer will not comply then you walk. Simple as that.

These issues are 100% preventable before delivery. The dealers are to blame. Unfortunately the customer needs to take responsibility for this crap. Once those wheels leave the dealer lot they can care less.
Most shops or dealers got policy were no customers are aloud on the floor do to insurance policy stuff

Ya, but is it an actual insurance company requirement, or a shop requirement?
