If I cant get a white hard top, I would consider having it wrapped.
Does anyone know what that would cost?

Thanks! I'll check it out.Never wrap that thing, have it sprayed with Line-X.
How much would you guess for a Line-X spray of the hardtop only?Never wrap that thing, have it sprayed with Line-X.
$500- (2 door)--$700 (4 door). Possibly and probably a bit cheaper on that 4 door number in reality. How much would you guess for a Line-X spray of the hardtop only?
That's about right. I've been telling people roughly 6-800, so market prices are a bit higher.Just got a rough estimate 800-1000 to paint, not wrap the 4 door top. Assuming the inside would be left alone (since even the shado black top is white on the inside, and i dont want to mess with the sound deadening). They recommended not vinyl wrapping given potential scratches from wear and tear given its white over black. To me, thats a much better option if the white top ends up being a DIO accessory (meaning you need to buy a dual top)...remember, they need to ship the car to the dealer with some other top, presumably a soft top.
I think that's when a lot of people wrap their cars actually. The main benefit of a wrap is to protect your vehicles paint from UV and pinstriping. Clear bra wraps are super common in rocky, snowy, or sandy places. I get the reason he's talking about is because he's unsatisfied with the grey top, like some others....not necessarily for protection. I for one don't mind the grey top...I feel like I'm in the minority though. My only beef with the grey, is if it doesn't match the material of the fender flares, door handles, and side mirrors. Otherwise, I like it better than the idea of a glossy painted top...white or black. ??‍I would have no desire to spend $45-50k on a brand new vehicle and then spend more cash to “wrap” it...
To each their own..

I have no desire to spend that much on a vehicle and not have it the way I want it. It’s just another mod on a vehicle that screams for mods.I would have no desire to spend $45-50k on a brand new vehicle and then spend more cash to “wrap” it...

Honestly I thought it would be more than 1k. Everything in my area ends up being way more than I estimate so I’m happy with that. Welcome to NJ. The average property tax bill within my neighborhood is pushing 30k. Apparently people like overpaying for shit. That's about right. Paying more than that is a ripoff unless you're going some sort of custom mix or a candy.
