Could we use fordpass points for new tires?

Looks like I'm going to have around $1500 in fordpass points upon delivery. Says it can be used for service and accessories. Would tires count as well? My dealership price matches tires so thinking of going that route.

start by downloading the free FordPass app in the App Store. You get 42,000 points when you buy a new vehicle. You get roughly 5% rewards when you buy parts & service at the dealership. You can link it to a FordPass Visa and earn points everywhere and double your rewards on dealer parts& service to 10%. Ford is supposed to give us points forsome of the Bronco delays too. Sometimes double points on groceries, etc. they now offer rebates above and beyond cash. Ex, right now I think you can get somethinglike a $75 rebate on the purchase of 4 tires OR opt for 30,000 Ford Pass points which is worth more like $150.

I believe some of, if not the majority, are only awarded after a certain amount of time with the Ford pass connect activated.

I was wondering if you had to have a Ford Pass Visa (got one in the mail). I'd rather not open up another line of credit.
