Just how 'clean and green' is the process to make the batteries in those things? I'm guessing when all is said and done they are no better than a regular ICE vehicle in terms of input energy and pollution. - But at least the majority of environmental damage and pollution is in some far away land. There are good reasons for going electric, but I think it's not because of the environment.Just climate propaganda. Tesla will get a "good score" on being a green choice even though at the end of the day teslas are powered by coal and natural gas.
