Crooked Retro Badge drives you crazy?

Damnit, tried my best to get this straight by making templates and measurements with tape and still got it dumb. What would you do? It seems that trying to pull it off will destroy the adhesive.

A. Is it my imagination
B. Order another set and try again
C. Buy some best reviewed double sided tape and re~diy apply

What does the tape measure reveal on each end?

Leave it. In a couple of weeks if it still bothers you warm it up with a heat gun and pull it off. Mine are straight to the body line but the rake makes it look a little crooked. Yours looks good to me.

Looks good to me. Put a torpedo level on it and check to see if it's level!

Realized that level is not the goal. Parallel to the body line is the best way to do it. That way if you have any rake, it will always look straight. Door handles are that way too.
And yours looks fine in the pic.

Maybe it's the angle of the images but it doesn't look off at all to me. The good thing is... the B and the O are the same height (unlike the retro script) so it should be easy to take a fabric tape measure or even a regular tape measure and see just how far down each is from the seam. I can't imagine it being skewed much one way or the other with what I see in the images but maybe the perspective of the images are making the imperfection less perceivable? It looks fine to me.

Looks good to me I would just leave it, if it looks uneven to the right just tilt your head to the left

Looks pretty good in the pic. Give it a week, you’ll move on to other things You may have done the same but I used the fender line and door seem. Made one paper template for both sides.

Looks fine to me, and I'm pretty obsessive about this stuff.

Looks even with the body line. Stock there is an inch or so difference from and back which make them look off. I think the same of mine we will see what I think when/if I get the front leveled up/lifted. I think they look good. If your pulling them off fishing line and yes you will need to re apply the two sided tape. I’ve been contemplating the same thing. I did all the same steps and think mine look off as do most pictures I’ve seen. Apparently most of us used the same template. One thing stopping me is it took way to long to apply the tape to my script emblems.
