Not really, because you wouldn't be able to fit the winch in there. It would be possible if someone made a micro 12k winch, but it wouldn't have much line and I would be skeptical of its capabilities.

BTW, the RC mount doesn't require you to cut the frame, it bolts up without cutting... Installing the winch is what requires you to cut.

It's super easy to cut, and it doesn't support anything, so hack them off. It was just a few minutes with my plasma cutter and done.
