So looks like the total from Curt is $250. For both. Let’s see what etrailer.com does for pricing.

Based on my cost and what etrailer marks up their other curt harnesses, I'm thinking this will be about $61-$62 from them.

Looks like they have some in stock but I never have luck getting them to ship when it's not in my primary warehouse.

For the hitch receiver and the wiring harness.
Am I missing something because from what I can tell the stage 2 hitch for it is $232 is it not by itself? And then $105 for the harness?

See the above respective threads with links. Or, go to etrailer and search

I suspect the Tekonsha and Curt units are the same. They look very similar.

CURT makes great stuff, I love their front receiver mounts so the winch stays in a box, and their little skid plate fill ins.

Curt hitch still listed at $111 on RealTruck. Takes a good long time to get to you in my experience, but a better price than etrailer.

All good until you want to back up a trailer, such as a boat trailer, with surge brakes and without the backup light function you’re going to have to manually release the trailer brakes so you can back up. Doing that every time you back up is a PIA.

Then there’s the concern about not having the wiring to connect a brake controller to electronic trailer brakes which are fairly common on many small light travel trailers you might want to pull with your Bronco.

Because it needs a bunch more stuff (charge wire, reverse wire, brake wire) you could add the charge wire and brake wire to a brake controller yourself pretty easy. Most trailers anyone would be towing with a Bronco, likely don't have reverse lights.
I've got all the lights and I need a charging circuit too... Loaded trailer is only 2000lbs. Going to have to pop for TOW to get the 7 pin.
