Custom Hot Wheels Badlands

I ran out of shows to watch on Netflix and I wont be getting my Bronco until 2022 given my options requests.

So, I hopped on YouTube to checkout how to disassemble a Hot Wheels and went to town on a 2021 Bronco Hot Wheels with some Cactus Gray paint I had a body shop make. The match is terrific but my lighting and camera shifted blue on me. Oh well. RIP LR Defender for the donated wheels. And I even took a stab at an IL plate while the clearcoat dried.

It was still fun to make this as exactly how it will look come delivery day. Now I get to stare at it on my desk for another 11 months until the life sized one is in my garage... and continually change my mind on options.... hmmm black door handles maybe?

I stared at those for a bit and thought about attempting a perfect circle with a .25mm brush. As I held up the brush at the point of no return, i realized one heartbeat would turn it into an amoeba instantly.

So I called it quits.

Is that what the ones with the rubber tires are called and a little more painted detail? Because that's what I cannibalized.... Defender 110.

I put a poll up for the color of this next one based on what I have laying around.

This is what I’m hoping similar my WT build will look like. I go back and forth on waiting for the white HT...

time will tell what Ford says come May as far as potential delivery dates

Gloss black roof for my vote. You did the white roof on the other one and gloss black would have the little extra cool factor versus the matte.

Looks really good! I actually bought some white spray paint this weekend but I'm keeping the blue and will do a white top and flares. If it turns out decent I'll post it up.
