Interesting. I’d probably just keep the original on mine, it has a leather wrap already so there’s gotta be a way to remove the existing and redo it in the leather I have.

As much as I love the MGV in the Black Diamond, I wanted to do something truly one of a kind.
Door panels, center console, and dash were all done in the same distressed leather.

This looks truly amazing! That color leather would look so good in my Rapid Red BD. I know this is not something I will ever be able to afford but it is nice to dream. Good job. Keep customizing Broncos!

Ever since I first got my Bronco, I’ve been contemplating doing a full custom interior in it. As much as I love the MGV in the Black Diamond, I wanted to do something truly one of a kind. So after going back and forth on a few different designs I finally made up my mind and got to work making an idea into reality.

I seriously cannot wait for warmer weather to come. This thing is gonna be drop dead sexy with the roof off.

Im sure everybody is familiar with this pre-production interior that Ford never ended up offering:

I too fell in love with it, as I’ve always been a fan of distressed leather and the kind of retro/western styled interiors from King Ranches and Laramies.
I took much inspiration from this design, as the photos will show, but added my own flair to it. For the inserts I did something a little different with the quilting, rather than going with diamonds as is common, I simply utilized a square design which I think gives it a more retro look.

Door panels, center console, and dash were all done in the same distressed leather. Every piece was cut and sewn by hand, and every piece is made from 100% top grain leather. So without further ado:

Beautiful!!! You have exponentially improved it! I too wanted the "demo model only" interior after owning two King Ranch F150's. I would have paid god knows for that interior. Yours is right up there with it IMO.

This looks amazing!! I just took my OBX Bronco to local upholstery shop yesterday to measure for my interior work. Going with classic stiched seats. Have to get rid of all the navy pier color on the door panels,dash and grap handles as well. That way the entire interior will be done in dark charcoal. We were worried about the dash going back together with the thicknest of leather material wrapped around it but obviously you got it to work!!

Wouldn’t recommend leather on the dash though we do many dashes that leather on Mercedes,jags,Ferrari,etc… that curl up from the sun in leather. Mobern a company the makes a vinyl that is distressed and can deal with heat would be a better option for longevity. It’s called Allante material and comes distressed would do well in high sun areas. We went with suede centers which is really microfiber so it’s not hot in summer or cold in winter

You also want to minimize padding on dash panels to help fit and finish

I haven’t liked a ton of the aftermarket options, but this is truly amazing looking. That dash is absolutely unreal cool! Might have to get those windows tinted after you see the amount of ppl that stop to talk to you about it haha
