I finally found a cyber orange ranger.
Ford Bronco Cyber Orange vs Yellow cyber orange 4

For comparison, the Little Trees air freshener color is definitely yellow. This picture is in full sunlight. It is definitely more orange than yellow. It isn't pumpkin orange, but definitely orange.

Here is another picture comparing true yellow to cyber orange.

I was very concerned that cyber orange was more school bus yellow. But, after seeing this in person (and getting my yellow-hating wife's opinion), I just might switch my Badlands order to cyber orange.

Yeah - I found one near me as well - seemed more of a ā€œgolden metal-flake school busā€. Very nice, but too much on a 4-dr.

That looks like a construction or utilities truck.

the problem I see is this color just doesnā€™t look good on a Ranger.

Take a yellow Ferrari (you know, if itā€™s yours) for example. Looks outstanding on the Ferrari and hideous on a Ford Expedition. Itā€™ll look good on the Bronco because itā€™ll only be on the body panels, doors, and hood. Itā€™d look hideous if it was on the roof.

Pull it up next to a school bus and letā€™s see what you get...
I wish we had school buses operating in the Dallas Independent School District, so that I could do a comparison. Regardless, there is a crazy amount of flake in Cyber Orange that no school district outside of the middle east would pay for.

Interesting. I commented on another thread regarding Cactus Grey, that it looks better on a Bronco Sport than it does on a Ranger. I think it has something to do with the A-pillars (Ranger= body color; Bronco Sport = black) and the hood angle (Ranger=raked toward the bumper; Bronco Sport=flat). Since the Bronco has body-colored A-pillars which carry across the top of the front window frame, I am trying to figure out how cyber orange and cactus grey will look as they frame the front window.

When I had my ā€˜02 Camaro, I loved the way the body color only broke up the windows and thus the black ā€œaccentā€

I imagine itā€™ll be the same with the Bronco front framing bar around the windshield.

the picture above isnā€™t mine, but was similar. Mine was tinted, so the structural band really stuck out

With the multilayered paint, itā€™s going to look different depending on the environment.

I was set on it from the go and the CFO (wife) finally gave in.

Finally an apples to apples comparison in a single frame.
