Might as well go right to a D60.My take?
Even if all Broncos ship with IFS, it will not take long for the aftermarket to get a D44 underneath the front.
If you are going to a D60 front, you will have a long list of upgrades to bring the rest of the vehicle up to that level. The cost adds up quick.Might as well go right to a D60.

Do you really need me to answer that? If you want to turn a stock vehicle into a build that needs a D60, you're likely doing upgrades to wheel & tires, armour, suspension, drive line, and steering.Like what?
Someone that swaps a D44 into a brand new truck is going to do those things anyway. Pretty much a guarantee that you’re going to have to modify suspension, driveline, and steering to convert from IFS.Do you really need me to answer that? It was confirmed a long time ago that the Bronco would use Dana’s Advantek axle technology.Wait, from the video " ... moving to the Ford product coming out". What's up with that? Did the presenter indicate the "Ford product" would have a live front axle, and this guy's company would have upgrade parts for it? Or just some internal diff tech/joints that could be part of an IFS upgrade?
I figured the new Bronco (assuming the video presenter is talking about that) was IFS and thought live axle was wishful thinking. Maybe there is still a glimmer of live axle hope for the Bronco Bronco front end?

No reason to go with a 44 and be right on the edge of breaking things. Cheaper just to do it once. Not saying that a 44 won’t hold up to 35s, but the guy doing a sas probably isn’t running 35s.

Yep, and Ford uses electric steering racks on everything but the super duty. Makes a sas quite a bit tougher than it used to be.For the most part, it looks like there are not many SAS builds out there at all, and you piss off a lot of sensors / electronics when you remove the stock stuff.

Something about his smirk when he said the axle will be under the "upcoming Ford product" really seemed to hint at the D44 SFA being under the Bronco. I'd be fine either way, but this is definitely interesting.This news is almost 3 years old and Dana makes IFS as well.
