If I recall there's a few bronco bolts on top of the dash - if ford doesn't provide then the aftermarket will.

A little double sided 3m adhesive with a hole poked through or a rubber washer will take care of that.

It's what OEMs use for most squeek/rattle/NVH issues anyways.

So I know that the USB power on the dash only comes in the Lux package, but does anyone know if the hole for the USB outlet is still there on lower trim levels? Even if it is not necessarily wired and it is just a hole with a cover. I've watched a bunch, if not all, of the walkaround videos and can't find a good view of the top of the dash in a Black Diamond or lower trim.

I'm hoping to just buy a USB outlet on Amazon and install it on the dash and would prefer not to drill a big hole myself. Attached images show the USB outlet on a First Edition, and the outlet I would like to install in my Black Diamond.

Looking at the top picture makes me wonder, if there is a speaker in the center of the dash on the Lux, where would the rail mount in that case?

Sounds like a pain in the ash to me. But, some wood like to tackle that fiber of a project.

It's there just at the bottom of your pic. Can be seen here too from the FE walkaround yesterday

Exact same place. It would just sit elevated above it.
