Dashcam / mirror power

Has anyone successfully wired up a dashcam using power from the mirror, with one of the @Dongar adapters? If so how did it work? And is it the 10 or 12 pin adapter?

My OR Premium had a 5 pin connector spare inside the overhead console that I used with the Dongar 5-pin adapter. Didn't have to mess with anything that was already connected that way.

Thanks. When you say overhead console do you mean where the mirror hangs from, on the windshield, or where the reading lights/sunroof etc are?

The reading lights, moonroof and rear window controls. You probably want to read through https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/threads/dash-cam-solutions-for-2024-tacoma.1869/ - especially page 2 which has some photos and instructions for removing that plastic panel to get to the connector.
