So I've spend the night sitting here stewing about Ford not giving me an update they originally said wouldn't come until next month... Mike why won't you call me?!?!? And all other things in the universe outside my control and came to the conclusion we need to burn MAP down. This will show Ford how much we want the Bronco and how serious we are. That will for sure get Ford Corporate's attention faster than angry emails, tweets, and screaming at random call center people. Thus speeding up the build process.

I didn't expect to get any email, reserved the night of the reveal when ever the website let me in, don't know my time stamp. confirmation e-mail came hours later around 3am the next day but date is first day.
I think the reservation time matters at Ford to some extent but even more at your dealer, and hopefully you fall into their allocation for this year or the timestamp won't matter. If they get 50 Broncos, that's all they get, and if 50+ people reserved there before you did, you'll have to wait 'till next year, they can't pull them out of thin air.
Ford is juggling a lot of numbers to get these out, don't want to disadvantage small dealers in small towns over the buying power of someone in a metropolitan area in a different state, so there's the complicated allocation math combined with your reservation time stamp. And that's where we'll end up. And yes, somebody that ordered one of 5 at Tiny Ford of Smalltown might get it before you, since your large volume dealer ran out of allocations for the year before they got your order. There are only so many of these to go around.
I won't be checking my email every 30 sec next Thu, I'll get the message when I get it, and a couple weeks later I'll be driving around with no roof and a big smile with good music blasting.
Really nothing to stress about IMO.
Ford actually only has about 10.000 customers world wide, the dealers. The dealers have us as customers. We don't buy directly from Ford. So they need to make all their 10k customers happy with a fair distribution system, so they all can play in the same pool.
Anyway, just how I see this. I think I'll get mine sometime this year, I'd like to get it in summer, but I know I will get it eventually and I'll be having a blast :-D

I've heard a couple predictions for this Tuesday, but most seem to be saying Thursday.

from what I have read, Ford does their scheduling on Wednesday and then inputs the info on thursdays.
