For months we have all been talking about our Reservation timestamp and what that means. Then Came the Dealer Allocation, and now the Delays depending on your selection.
I'm just trying to sort out in simple terms for myself (and maybe others) which of these have the largest impact (aka ranking from top to bottom)
I mean if I have a day 1 Reservation (which I don't) but want a Bronco with Sasquatch, and A dealer to which I'm at their 40% Allocation bracket.... does my Reservation even mean anything?
Just guessing here but seems like
Trim/Option - largest c-blocker.. other 2 don't mean crap If Ford doesn't have Parts.
Allocations - just under, because if your dealer has 100 first day reservations, but yours was +1 outside their allotment, your still going home alone.
Reservation - the least of them all. You could easily beat out earlier Reservations and cut in line if your Trim and Dealer selection works in you favor.
Anyone see it differently?
