Now that Ford dealers have real information on price lists, etc....has anyone received more concrete numbers for dealer allocations?

Side question: when is the last day to change dealerships?

Here is my dilemma. I am currently between two dealerships

A) local dealership which is offering 1k below MSRP. I am about 85 out of 160 in the queue here.

B) dealership approximately 1 hour away which is offering 1k below invoice. I am about 280 out of 350 in the queue here.

I am ordering a fully loaded Badlands (reservation date 8/7).
Which direction should I go? Think I can get my bronco much quicker with one dealership vs another?

I wish there were any dealers in colorado that would do ANYTHING on pricing, but they are all msrp or higher. Good luck with your choice though. You still have two decent options to choose from.

It depends. How big are the dealers as far as Ford volume normally? What market are you in?

Are you price sensitive? If so then I would take the invoice deal. The allocation deal doesn't mean that much to me. I'm a reservation holder that expects to fully purchase so I will get my truck before the full slate of dealer stock sales happen.

Your priorities are most likely different.

I will also 100% be buying from my reservation (which is an 8/7 reservation).

the dealership in A is larger volume than the dealership in B...
Then you almost assuredly would be a MY22 with dealer B....if dealer A is a big dealer in the national rankings and in a big market....then you probably get a MY21 and many months before dealer B. You have to decide what that's worth.

Doesn't change my opinion, I moved from 6 AUG to 1 OCT for financials.

Depends on your desire for firtstness vs. $$$.

Based on a allocation of 30% per the number of reservations the $1,000 under MSRP gets you the quicker vehicle it would seem. Still, (I have no hard knowledge on what I am about to say and it is 100 speculation) 60k Broncos for 35 weeks in the year (maybe 32 weeks depending on shutdown etc) seems like the low end of the pond. I could see where those numbers could go up some. How much is the question. If you need the vehicle then go with the quicker option. If you don't mind waiting until MY22 I'd go with the lower price.
