I have made a hotel reservation in Ketchum. Might as well road trip with the family. Leave early Friday, come back home Saturday night
Honestly, even if there's no Bronco, a big film festival in Idaho sounds like a fun family trip :)

I've driven through Idaho twice (once on the way to Portland/Vancouver, once on the way to Bellingham) and both times I wished I could have spent more time there.

Hello everyone been lurkin on this site for last 3 weeks been waiting for the bronco for a long time. Called my local dealer yesterday he said he was aware of the possible reveal/ debut next Wednesday. He said all he could do was take down my name and number and he would know what my next steps to possible preorder list would be by the Thursday or Friday after if it is true about Wednesday. I can't wait.

Well, I will be sitting at home watching closely since I'm not supposed to do any non-essential work, and I'm working from home now.

Didn't carmaker already say that it's going to be in Dallas just not at the car show? Check his post history, it's in the first page....

Same. I was just told that I'm supposed to work from home until the 30th.

I stopped at my local Ford Dealer... was a nice day... the salesman came outside to greet me and was checking out my 06 Ranger. I asked for the Bronco Specialist... he looked puzzled... I don't think they have one.

I really just wanted to see what the specialist had to say... I was told they had no information to come back later. Then he walked back into the showroom and started to talk with the other salesman. I will add I think I was the only customer there. I guess I was expecting a bit more enthuiasim... I probably won't be buying a Bronco at that store.

On the other hand, you know more then they do.
If they are a dead store you may be able to negotiate a great deal just so they can get a sale on the books. If they show enthuiasim, that may jack the price up. Many are of the mind like a motorcycle shop I went to once, I asked what was new on the new year model, he said "bold new graphics".

Well I know they broke ground on a brand new facility right across the street from my subdivision... so I don't think they're "dead". I guess I was just expecting a bit more enthusiasm on their part.

I think when I'm ready I will just email @ChrispyKC to order it... Then have him drive it to Northern Michigan for a few days of fly fishing a couple of my favorite steelhead holes... or maybe the Hex hatch depending on time of year. Then get him back to the airport for his trip home.

You'd think salespersons would be more up on the products they will offer. On the other hand, maybe a salesperson doesn't see much value in getting a customer interested in a product, which can't even be purchased until next year. They want to make a sale right now.
