I hope it works. I've been waiting almost a month for Ford to combine my day 1 timestamp (which my dealer turned into an order without my approval) and my latest reservation turned into a code 99 order.

This is not an honest mistake. Maybe the most customer-facing employees are that ignorant of the process, but there is no way the owner and GM are this incompetent; it is malicious. Everyone still buying from these jerks like we can't do a bit of internet research, fly for cheap, and drive a car back on principle.

Having faith that nobody would be that cruel to you and not doing anything about it is contributing to the maltreatment of others going forward.

I am with Squatch on this. OP saying he was #1 (out of 4) in their allocations and had such an early timestamp makes this unbelievable that they would cancel his reservation. He was getting his Bronco this year for sure and may have even been in the first build window. I think something else may be going on like who is the guy sitting at #5?

The rep mentioned having to make a new reservation # and attaching my original time/stamp to it. She also mentioned I had a really good time/stamp :oops: oh geez
Do not do it! They told me to do the same and I've been waiting a month for the new reservation to be attached to the old timestamp.

Do not do it! They told me to do the same and I've been waiting a month for the new reservation to be attached to the old timestamp.
That sucks you've been waiting that long... but that's the process that Ford has been using to remedy these issues.

There was another person on the forum who was waiting and waiting and waiting... and then they called back and it got escalated to a different person's inbox and it was done in a day or two.

Sounds like some dirty pool right there. Dealerships will do as dealerships do. You've taken the good fight and are on the right path.

On the plus side: You used the word "cancel" correctly multiple times in your post and it's not in your vocabulary!

Yikes, that is what we all fear especially in a vehicle that is in high demand and people are throwing dollar signs in front of them. My salesperson said one customer offered $20,000 to be put ahead of everyone else. Fortunately that is not how the Ford reservations work.

Reservation: 7/14/2020 Ordered: 1/19/2021 Badlands, 2.7L Auto, 4Dr. I noticed I wasn't getting any emails from Ford regarding Tops, etc. Logged onto Ford.com and my reservation was cancelled. Called the dealer who said I didn't qualify for 21 so they cancelled and placed a 22 order. As my blood pressure started to rise, I explained how important the Reservation date/time stamp is. Next call was to Ford. Talked to a super nice Rep who confirmed that indeed, my reservation was cancelled. I explained to her that, regarding the Bronco, CANCEL is not in my vocabulary. I had nothing else in the system. She is elevating to Regional Manager and is assuring me they can get it worked out and my original time stamp reinstated. I know it's just a truck but my heart hit the floor on this one. After waiting soooooo long.
The only dealer I trust is a Drug Dealer....They never pretend to be anything else!!

Wow, your dealer is an eggplant. Maybe see if while they are reinstating you that you can switch to another dealer.

This was I was thinking as I read that. Who is #5? Friend or relative of dealer employee?
