Just wondering about this.... My dealer is getting in a 2-door and printed off the window sticker for me to look at, but they don't have a VIN or delivery date yet. Is there a known approximate timing?

No such thing as a window sticker without a VINā€¦

But VIN is usually issued as soon as the vehicle is queued for production. Window sticker should appear in system as VIN is assigned. Soā€¦. They should have an estimated production date, but not always the case.

Does he have a build date? I have a build week of Nov 1 but no window sticker at this time.

The VIN is right above the barcode above the finger in that pic. Itā€™s starts with 1FM but thatā€™s as much as I can make out.

Someone here can probably decode the rest quickly based on the build spec. Too bad they used a potato camera.

But to answer the timing question, there is literally no way for anyone other than the dealer to know the timing of delivery of this particular Bronco.

It is a dealer mannequin that is most likely sitting on Dirt Mountain. I donā€™t think anyone knows exactly how Ford is handling the MIC 2.0 top replacements for dealer mannequins. So the best answer for delivery timing is ā€œšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøā€œ or ā€œby the end of the yearā€.

Dealer demo (mannequin), with a blue window sticker
All stock orders are blue window stickers, regardless of weather theyā€™re designated for use as a demo/ mannequin or retail sale. Green window sticker is customer-specific order. Red window sticker is fleet order. A dealer can sell their mannequin as long as they replace it with something comparable from stock or they have had it on the lot for X amount of time. I donā€™t think Ford is being picky about dealers selling their Bronco mannequins because stock is so limited and demand is huge.

Printed off a sample VIN, not the one for your actual vehicle?

So you are saying dealers are getting 2 door for regular stock before customer-specific orders...

Getting closerā€¦

1FM#E5AP#MLA63675

I still canā€™t figure out VIN Positions 4 & 9? šŸ¤”
  • VIN Position 4 - Restraint, Brake System, and GVWR Class
    • On my 4 door, fully-loaded Badlands, this is ā€˜Eā€™.
  • VIN Position 9 - Check Digit
Here is the VIN Guide I am usingā€¦

Can anyone here help figure out these last two alphanumerics (VIN Positions 4 & 9)?

Should be able to just brute force it from there.
