Dealer says I have a 3/24 build week, Ford site shows the order confirmed and a VIN but no build week

Dealer just told me that I have a 3/24 build week scheduled for my order.
I got my order # and VIN, looked it up on the Ford website and getting a order confirmation, but it is not showing the build date.
Is this just typical Ford website acting up?

I have vin with 3/28 build wk. from dealer called Ford they stated that ford site would up date closer to build wk

Yes. The dealer gets a list of Preliminary build dates... and some of them take the time to actually tell their customers what they can see.

My dealer sent me a Preliminary build date of 3/07, and my VIN Number.

My date hasn't moved, since I got it. They do, sometimes, based on availability of the selected options. I still see many complain that their date has moved... but somehow, I don't think it as often as it used to be.

I hope to see the Ford actual email, soon!

Did you get your order number and VIN from the dealer? Cant find any info anywhere on where to get it. Dealer gave me my build date but I have gotten no communication from Ford other than they received my order. 3/14 build date

I got in touch with my dealer after seeing others say they heard from their dealer without hearing a word from Ford.

I reached out to the dealer and they had received a date, and gave me the order and VIN numbers.

I ordered Jan 9, Base Sas 4dr 2.7 soft top

I was in the same boat- I received a note from my dealer saying I had a 3/28 build date. I had received nothing from ford. I contacted them on Sat. because nothing was on my Ford account. Got the order # from the dealer today and re-contacted Ford through chat, the person on the other end said my order had been processed but the Vin would not be sent until production actually started and that the dealership would have more up to date info on the build date than they would. Made me feel a little better like the whole thing was legit because I have received zip from Ford except after the very first day i placed my order (an email that said congrats on your order- but had no order #) .

I emailed my dealer last Thursday (Jan 27) to switch my soft top order to the MIC. Dealer emailed me back later in the day and said I had a 3/14 build date and changing my order might knock me from my build date. I said "NO!" I'll keep the soft top! Lol

But I have heard zero from Ford and the website isn't updated with going to production. All I have is my dealer saying I have a 3/14 build date.
