Dealer telling a buyer the mic top is NOT a constraint

Conversing with a lady on one of the Facebook bronco groups today. She was saying her dealer is telling her the MIC top is not a constraint but is looking at other things that could be hanging up her order. She said they have received 5-6 hard tops recently and aren’t having issues getting them.
I tried to tell her that most are not having that experience and in fact, the MIC top is probably the top constraint of the listed 3 that ford just published. Told her about the “my dealer said” lines and how that is perceived. Told her probably 90% of recently scheduled builds are soft tops and many of those (including mine) are later orders that jumped ahead of long time orders due to the soft top.
It was like talking to a brick wall. Basically she said I’m going to trust my sales manager and ignore all other evidence- thank you very much. Good luck lady!

No idea.

Ours was reserved last november (2020) and is scheduled for the week of 1/17/22.

I dont think it is as big of a constraint as it once was.

Maybe her dealer has a lot of allocations and not many orders. Who knows. But to say the mic is not a constraint? That’s a huge stretch.

She also stated almost every bronco posted on the site was a hardtop that people are getting in. I went through several days. Two hardtops and more soft tops than you can count. Gotta laugh!

Nothing is a constraint unless your reservation is over 500 days old and you don't want to pay adm.

The brush guard is a way higher constraint item than the MIC tops (if I understand the table in the previous post on constraints). I dropped the brush guard in October and got scheduled in November for January.
