Dealer telling me First Edition ordering not available yet?

So my dealer converted my reservation to an order before ever speaking to me yesterday. They called me today, and we did a build on the phone. Later I received an email showing my build, and him telling me that he was unable to convert my reservation, because the ordering tool for the first edition is not available yet? Does that make sense?

my dealer told me that they have had problems that it takes about 24 hours between converting the order, before they are able to actually adjust it.

maybe its not exactly 24, maybe its more than 30seconds and they found it easier to wait a day then to keep hitting refresh with the customer on the line. maybe check with the dealer tomorrow just to see.

I get that, but I'm concerned because they converted it to an order 24 hours before they ever spoke to me. Hopefully, it's nothing to be worried about.

We had issues pushing orders on First Edition the first day, been fine since then.

If they already converted your reservation to an order how could they then re-convert it to an order on another day? Once your reservations converted to an order it's an order.

I think you need to call Ford.

Ordered my FE today and had my confirmation in an hour.

So i spoke to a Bronco specialist today, and they are changing my "order" back to a reservation. He said they've been getting lots of these types of calls, and asked if I wanted to change dealerships while we were on the phone. I said I wanted to speak to them first, but of course the sales manager assigned to me is not in today.
