If the old order just remains in their inventory and they get a Bronco for their lot, I plan on modifying my reservation to the most difficult model to move with the least desirable options, that way, if they stole a Bronco, it will be hard to move.

This came out last nite from [email protected] no one has a res at one of the 146 dealers

Subject: Bronco Specialist Updates
Only 14 days left until the March 19th order conversion deadline! Have you followed up with all of your customers? Remember 50% of the 21MY allocation will be based on final number of converted orders!
Reservation to Order Conversion Stats:

  • 92% of Dealerships have converted at least 1 Reservation to Order
  • 146 Dealerships have yet to convert 1 Reservation to Order (Dealerships with 5 or more reservations)
Hey Tom,

I'm hoping maybe you can help me decipher what's going on with my reservation. Long story short, I've talked with you through DM previously. I'm trying to transfer a reservation to your dealership. I called customer service today to do that and was told (as I've heard others were) that my reservation was converted to an in-store order (and back at the end of January!). Also, I remember having a timestamp of 7/22, but it's now showing 7/24!? Can Ford just change it? Anyway, my plan was to switch to you and then order, but now I'm stuck. Customer service said that I have to place a new reservation with Chapman, and then call them back with a new order number. Then within 3 business days they will supposedly switch my original timestamp to the new order with you. I'm unable to get Ford's webpage to load, in order to pay the reservation fee. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Tom,

Yeah the issue is that the reservation section of the Ford website won't allow me to pay the $100...it goes blank and won't bring up the payment section. Because then I was told by customer service that I can call them with the new reservation number. They will then switch my timestamp and reservation over to you guys "within 3 business days."

My FE reservation has been converted to an order through a dealership that I don't intend to use. They did so without consulting me or with my consent. I called Ford in early and late February to have it converted back to a reservation and change the dealership. The late February call said it was still being processed. I called today at the 800-334-4375 number and I received new information.

I was instructed to place an additional reservation so they can make the changes for me. I'm hoping I can get a couple of questions answered without having to call back and be on hold for another half hour. First off, I'm assuming I place the new reservation at the dealership that I intend to purchase from. I don't feel like placing an additional order with the dealership that took my reservation hostage. Secondly, I plan to order just a base 2 door with no options. I'm hoping there won't be any issues with losing my first edition reservation through all of this.

Am I missing any steps here? The lady I spoke to was helpful and knowledgeable, but had a fairly strong accent so I didn't catch everything she said.

Yep! Make the new reservation with the dealership you intend to purchase from.

Then you call Ford back with both your reservation numbers.

This. Ford has been dealing with stealerships to the point where they had to create a work around. Creating a second reservation and transferring the original reservation number is how they are handling it...

For anyone who had a wrongly "converted res to order" and was able to move it to another dealer (via making the 2nd reservation and having the CRC move the time stamp):

Did your new reservation reflect your original timestamp? It looks to me like they just dumped a bunch onto 7/14 00:00. That is how I showed up at Tom's dealership, even though my original time was 7/13 22:58 - an hour and 2 minutes earlier. Grand scheme this is not huge, but it "doubled" where I stood on their allocation line, and I can only imagine how far back it put me in Ford's overall line.

I'll be calling the CRC tomorrow to see why there is this discrepancy, just curious if anyone else noticed this.

My original was 7/16 08:30ish, can’t remember exactly, my new one is 7/16 00:00, so I gained a few hours.

Ford has no reservation time stamps with a 7/13 date. They didn't open the reservation banks until midnight on 7/14/20 UTC. All time stamps are based upon UTC time.

Use the search function above to search "UTC time" there were several discussions about this months ago.

I know, I was one of the people pointing out the UTC 4 hour time differential. However, I made my reservation at 10:58 on 7/13 (after the systems finally came back online) and received an email confirmation at 10:59 EDT. When I spoke to Ford CRC, they also gave me the 22:58 time. If you look at the spreadsheet for Chapman on page 1 of the deal thread, you will see a number of lines with 7/13 time stamps.

So, somebody translated those back to US EDT at some point, otherwise nobody would have those, and my correct time would be 02:58, not 00:00. As you can see, I would be "T10th", not 21st.

Ford Bronco Dealer used my reservation and ordered a Bronco without my permission, on hold with Ford customer care now! ? 1615246989635

Yes, you converted you time stamp to a US time zone amount, as did many others and input those times into a spreadsheet here on B6G. But Ford Motor Company, never did. Which is why when Ford reset your reservation it did so to a UTC time 7/14/20 0:00, not your local time zone.

I did not do that here - the dealer was not getting these from any spreadsheet we did on B6G. He has reservations from people not even members here. The Ford system feeding him the data for the orders is feeding converted times, it would appear. (you answered before I added the spreadsheet to prior post, as well)

Try on a PC. Mobile devices have issues.

Do the time stamp hack and lookup your actual time stamps.
