Dealer won't make changes

Anyone else getting pushback from their dealer on making updates? I'm trying to remove the Tow Package any the response from McGovern in Framingham was"

"There is no more changing the orders. It's all on Ford at this point. I can no longer do anything involving the Bronco orders"

I know it states in a number of places on B6G forums changes should be allowed but I wanted to see if anyone has made changes in the past week or so?

If you have a vin already assigned the dealer is correct. Once a vin is issued Ford will not allow changes to the build

I don't believe I do but I guess maybe I'll wait a day or two. I even called the marketing line and they weren't to helpful in this instance. She stated that my order may be in production because it's be changed from a reservation to an order, which doesn't make sense. My ford account is still showing "In-Store Order" and I haven't received any emails related to a VIN.

I’m sure that chicken scratch from Bob at dealership X will let your inventory manager do something the web-based corporate-owned system was literally engineered to not allow to happen!

He's either lacking customer service skills, inexperienced or just not in the mood to noodle with seemingly small order updates.....or a combo of the above

Technically should be able to unless your build has moved too far along in the system

My dealer changed by order yesterday... it was a big change too: 4D to 2D. So it can be done.

If you don’t go full Karen and speak to somebody else you should at least call in and ask the service manager about transferring your order. Even if it’s too late you might get the SM to force some attention.

Just leave it. I have tow package and was issued a build week already.

Why get rid of the tow pakage you obviously wanted it I see a lot of people sacrificing options just so they can get there bronco early. I’m in the camp when I get it I get it I just look at the positives if I get pushed to my 22 like Everglades green white tops color matched tops. Don’t get me wrong I’d be happy if my order is a my 21 it should be I ordered on july 14 but who knows
