I saw some on Auto Trader the other day. One was my build, except leather instead of MGV. Listed for about $92,000 (CDN) vs. My MSRP of $72k. Such a rip off, so I emailed the dealership… Said it was already a customer sold order. Cool, glad to see it listed online and they’re ripping off a customer so badly…

Why not just call them about it.. see if it’s actually available for sale and all that jazz? I mean instead of speculating and getting yourself all riled up. Seems logical to me, but I don’t know much.

A dealer (I believe it was @Gloff) posted on here that when a customer order gets built it automatically gets added to their website as for sale due to the way the software is programmed. A huge markup is added so people don’t call about trying to buy it when the vehicle is already sold to a reservation holder.

Looking at the way this one is spec'd, I'd assume it's their demo. Plenty of dealers have theirs listed for sale at a huge markup, even though they can't be sold until they hit a certain mileage.

It's also possible it was a customer's order who backed out or maybe lost their financing. The dealer can sell these, but the name not matching will count against their 80/20 rule which - if exceeded - would cost them future allocation.

There are NO stock dealer units yet. None have been produced, none have been scheduled, and none have been ordered.

If you haven’t emailed Ned Ryerson directly at Ford already then your order has been given to a dealer as you didn’t complete it. Ford will also charge you a 25% restocking fee for not emailing them and completing your order.
