At this point No One has paid MSRP, no one has paid MSRP + ADM. And no one has paid below MSRP or paid below invoice.

Meaning if they did give me a deal on pricing, I would take those savings and spend it in their parts department... thus they'd get my money either way...This is a weird sentiment. "No, don't give me a break on my vehicle price! I'm just going to go spend it on other things I want!"
Or are you insinuating that the dealer is somehow going to force you to go buy accessories from their parts department? In which case, you should find another dealer.
Either way, I don't see how it's a valid argument why you shouldn't look for the best price possible for your vehicle.
But ... then you'd also have those parts .....Meaning if they did give me a deal on pricing, I would take those savings and spend it in their parts department... thus they'd get my money either way...
I don't think they can turn down warranty work and no way would I ever go to a dealer for non warranty work, so I'm not looking to build a relationship to be helped.I often times see people shop out of area or state, and then bitch when the local dealer doesn't want to help them on out on other things. Loyalty goes both ways the way I see it.
I don't know what's confusing you... Spend full MSRP on a Bronco and no extra parts/accessories...But ... then you'd also have those parts .....
Yeah, I got the difference. If you, like other people, said you were sticking with a dealer @ MSRP because you have a previous relationship or because you did the math and traveling to the dealer offering the better deal wasn't worth it, that would make total sense.I don't know what's confusing you... or...
Save money off MSRP and spend that "extra" money on parts/accessories. Can't explain any clearer than that...
In all reality, I'm going to pay MSRP and buy accessories, so my comments above was just a huge waste of your time.Yeah, I got the difference. If you, like other people, said you were sticking with a dealer @ MSRP because you have a previous relationship or because you did the math and traveling to the dealer offering the better deal wasn't worth, that would make total sense.
But to say you're happy with MSRP because you'd only spend that money on other things you want smacks of you trying to make yourself feel better about paying MSRP.
They cant turn down warranty work, I wasn't insinuating that. Lots of reasons to build relationships with local business, in my opinion, but yours might be different and that's cool also.I don't think they can turn down warranty work and no way would I ever go to a dealer for non warranty work, so I'm not looking to build a relationship to be helped.
I live in Appalachia. Local family owned dealership, one of the last of a dying breed. He and his employees are my neighbors. I'm at invoice. Fair enough for me. I hear horror stories from posters up in here trying to deal with the corporate dealers who are squeezing every nickle they can out of the consumer. They cant turn down warranty work, I wasn't insinuating that. I dont think any of the discounts are relevant when using A/Z plan do they??Gamecock is right. (I really wanted to type that.)
If you search through this site you'll see dealerships offering below invoice. Just be sure to sniff out what extra charges they put on when you sit down with them but if you're starting at $4k or $2k below invoice, that's a mighty fine starting point.
I've often heard it's best to deal in out-the-door prices, but again, $4k or $2k or even $1k below invoice is a mighty fine starting point.
I'm really not sure. A/Z plans don't really apply to me but I imagine they'll be, at most, in neighborhood of $2k under invoice. Best you can do is call around to different dealers...I'm with Granger Ford in Iowa, reserved on a MY22 at their advertised $2k under invoice. I know of 2 under invoice dealers: Granger and the dealer near Philly. Probably a good place to start.I dont think any of the discounts are relevant when using A/Z plan do they??
Oakland, Macomb, Wayne countys, metro detroit area.I believe A plan is still in effect. X is not....so if you are eligible for A, there is no need to look for a dealer that will deal. Look instead for one that has integrity.
Not from MI, where is the tri-county area?
