Nothing new with Webasto. They are still struggling and have been. Hopefully my connection will report improvement at some point!
It takes a while to turn around a ship, so it will be some time. I just hope the issue now is only quantity and tops passing qc rather than universal to issues due to bad production/design.

Better title would be "all 4 door mannequin units will be soft top."

As written it seems as though there will be no 2 door mannequins
Re-read the last line of the release.

So, was MIC ever a constraint on 2-doors at all, or just 4-doors? I changed my order at much more expense to switch to 4-door with soft top.
My "completely unfounded" theory is that top priority for hard tops (lol) is 2 doors and FE's, both of which have no other option. Once that qouta is met for the build schedule, they'll make whatever they can.

That being said, if I were to order a Bronco today, it'd be a 4dr Big Bend softie.

Highlights is still the only true source of information in America without a political bias or fake news.

I read the press release quoted above in my latest issue.

Ford recently updated Bronco Specialists that the 4-door Bronco FCTP Mannequin vehicles that previously had MIC tops selected will now come with soft tops due to demand.

Math not looking good for hard tops , 130 working days left this year x 40 tops a day is 5200. 2/3 were hard tops ordered gonna be a lot pushed to 22 if they dont up those numbers

40 tops per day?

They're already doing 300 per day as of last week

It has been confirmed that is currently a throughput issue and not a quality issue.

That's good for everyone. Quality issurs at this point would be a longer road to get to where they need/want to be. I would think it's just a matter of time to increased throughput.

Sorry but what is a “throughput”!

I will post it in the Indiana Club thread when I get confirmation of it being built, shipped and on the ground. If I've got your email addy I can blast something out too. We haven't discussed how we are going to do this since there will be a ton of folks wanting to play with it. More than likely we'll have a schedule of some sort for the first week so everyone who wants to drive and crawl over can, without being rushed. Gotta remember, it's a red 2 door base squatch so it won't be pretty but will be fun to drive.

Re-read my post? How do you think I came to the conclusion that 2-doors would not be effected if I didn't read the last line of the release?

As you can see below, the title of the post was "Dealers Informed That Bronco FCTP Mannequin Demo Units Will be 4-Door Soft Top Only"

Obviously someone agreed with me, because the post title was changed to "Dealers Informed That 4-Door Bronco FCTP Mannequin Demo Units Will Be Soft Top Only"
