I decided to add a trailer hitch on my Bronco. I was tired off asking friends who have hitches to help with trash removal etc. My wife of 50 years says to me We don't need a trailer hitch ...waste of money as we would never use it. I told he that we may want to buy bicycles and we can take the bikes with us on trips. BICYCLES !! she says ... WE are in our 70's ... I'm not riding any bicycle. I jokingly said... my girlfriend might. ... didn't.go over well needless to say.My dog still loves me.

The hitch is also a potential recovery point in case you go camping, get the blood flowing for that girlfriend and end up showing off and get yourself stuck needing to be dragged out by a passer by.

Otherwise, that guy will leave you with the Bronco while he escorts that hot girlfriend to safety.

Just sayin, it could happen......

Agree, RIP Tom. Hilarious take here...

However, how many of y'all are planning to add the hitch yourself after purchase? If Ford is charging $600+ for the hitch and wires alone, that is a tough pill to swallow.

How to sleep on the couch,
By Tommy

LOL

I originally was not going to add the hitch, but I have found that having the factory do the factory wiring tends to be a much cleaner install and the cost is not outrageous.
Worst case scenario is I only use it once, to pull Tommy out of his showoff dilemma.

Since I'm ordering a Base Squatch, my hitch will have to be aftermarket (plus I want a class 3, and I want it in the bumper for clearance). They offered to upgrade me to a BB for $5,000 to get the hitch, and I politely declined (and laughed).

Yeah, but I bet the dog still gets to sleep inside - how cold is your garage?

Standard equipment on every model is 2 recovery points up front and one in rear.

I am in my 70's, and ride all over, we do 20-40 mile bike rides...... but.... we have RAD Power Bikes and love them, still have to pedal but much lighter than without. Does 25mph on the flat, and zips up hills. 50 miles on a charge if you help, or 20 if you use just the throttle.
