I think it has to be trim specific. For the New Ranger, Ford started producing upper trims (Lariat and loaded XLT’s) first. No Base XL with steel wheels were produced and delivered during the first couple months of release.

That was my experience at Ranger5G. Ford delivered exactly zero XL’s during the first couple months. Considering it’s the same factory, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ford delivers only FE’s and BL’s first. Ford doesn’t want to sell Base.

I vote master thread and it will start out ok but then it will devolve into 500k threads. Then the forum will chew itself to pieces.

Not too far away from what it is right now with the 2.3-2.7, color, switches, tops, "when will I get delivery" etc.

I voted for the Honda option, mostly because I know the first option to be true, except that after the third or fourth post @Rick Astley will come in, declare in no less than 5000 words why we're all being tools, and storm out of the forum. Proving that he will in fact, give us up.
