I agree that you should have the dealer look at it first. If they claim it's your fault than PDR should take care of it for not a lot of money.

Thank you all for the good replies! I'll wait to hear what the dealer says, but I feel better about this being an easy fix.

Does the dent go away when you release the hood latch? Also is there a sealer daub between the inner and outer in the spot that the dent appears?

Seems to me that the dealer should order you a new hood, and install it when it arrives, at no cost to you.
Then it becomes a "he said, she said" thing. Once the buyer takes possession and drives it off the lot...how does the dealer know the Bronco didn't get hit with a baseball or something at the buyer's home? It sucks....but this is why I'll be going over my Bronco inside and out before I drive it off the lot. I hope this is an easy fix for you OP!!!

I picked up my new Bronco on October 29th and completely missed this giant dent on the hood. It looks obvious in this pic, but I could show you dozens of angles where it completely disappears.

Anyways, does anyone else have a dent like this? I doubt it is any issue with the Ford tooling.

Does anyone have advice on how to take it out? I've reached out to the dealer but haven't heard back yet.

Paint less dent repair not to expensive and they will be able to take that out how the hell did that arrive like that must of got damaged in shipping

I'll have to check on the hood latch tonight when I get home from work. I'm not sure what you mean by sealer daub, but I'll do some research.

Unfortunately all of the angles I took there don't show that area.

EXCEPT for one pic. A closeup I took of the paint. Hopefully that is enough to prove it happened before it left the lot.

The dealer was fantastic to work with, so hopefully this works out.

Sealer or adhesive that would probably look like a Hershey Kiss that is used to keep the Hood from fluttering.

I have a bad paint spot on the side, I was thinking I can have a detail shop do paint correction on it. Going to start looking for deals, maybe have them take care of the paint chips I got over the weekend as well.

Wish me luck.

Oddly enough I have a very minor pressure dent in that same spot. Much smaller than yours and truly almost unnoticeable. In the sunlight the mirror finish distorts in that area (when viewing from an angle).
I have the same, it is only noticeable at certain angles and not enough for me to take it back to the dealer. looks like there is one on each side of my hood

That fleck comes alive in the sun.

Betting the dent is from someone closing the hood.
