I just got an email from Bob Tomes in McKinney that their registration opens at 7 pm tonight. I have never had a problem with their service. Bought a 2005 F-150 and 2007 F-150 from them.

My reso is through one of the 5 Stars here. Never bought a vehicle from them and was not very impressed with their service department the few time I had to use it. I bought my '16 F150 KR, sight unseen and all by text from a dealer in MO. However, this situation is a bit different and would prefer a somewhat local dealer. I have never heard anything good about the Ford dealer in Grapevine. We have bought our last 6 or 7 company trucks from Bill Utter but only because 5 years ago an employee needed a company truck asap and he was working in Sherman at the time. So, long story short, I am looking for DFW dealer recommendations as well

I don't have a DFW dealer selected yet but here is the research I've done so far. I checked the the five closest Ford dealers:

I'm encouraged by these two dealers since they at least have the link to the Ford Bronco reservation site:
Bob Tomes Ford in Mckinney
https://www.bobtomesford.com/new-ford-bronco-mckinney-tx.html
Member @Buster has good things to say about Bob Tomes Ford in Mckinney.

Stanley Ford in Pilot Point
I've wondered if this small town dealer may be good to deal with, does anyone know?

These two dealers only have a "Contact Us for More Information"
(I'll speculate that if you need me to call you and you do not post a link to the Ford reservation website you're looking for an excuse to overcharge me on the deposit and ADM's fees.)
AutoNation Ford Frisco

Grapevine Ford
https://www.grapevineford.com/ford-reviews/2021-bronco.htm
Grapevine Ford has earned negative comments from two members, @MardiGrasTexan and @BlueBronco.

Also, Grapevine Ford is now building a new location in Prosper but I may not want to go there even though they are the closest with the negitive comments on Grapevine Ford.

I have also bought a new 2015 F-150 FX4 from Stanley Ford in Pilot Point. They were pretty new back then and went out of their way in service. Pricing was good and they got us in and out pretty quick. (Except for the spray in bed-liner. That was outsourced so not their fault but being an hour away from me it wasted an entire day of mine that didn't need to be wasted.) Not sure how they have grown/changed over the last 5 years but I would recommend them based on my last experience.

I have no previous dealings with any of the Ford dealers, however Park Cities Ford was selected in my reservation, and they reached out first thing the next morning to congratulate me on the reservation. They seem very excited about the new Bronco, no mention of ADM, but we didn't get deep into things.

Grapevine Ford said no ADM and will accept X-Plan. Again, this is just talk. I need to see it on paper myself.
I am thinking If a dealer in the area (drivable within 100 miles) is not doing ADM and accept X-Plan, it is likely others will follow. Otherwise, why would someone go there to just pay more? I hope I am right

I am working with Grapevine Ford, I have nothing but good to say. Ask for Gary Vogel, he is my POC. Great employee, always returns my calls and sends new intel the minute he gets it.

An update on my experience with Five Star: tldr: communication is non-existent, not a good experience at all, will be moving my reso when time to order

- 7/13 - email from sales assistant (SA) confirming email, replied confirming
- 7/14 - auto email congratulating me on my reservation
- 7/14 - email from SA confirming phone # and statement saying sales rep (SR) will call, replied confirming
- 7/15 - auto email from sales manger (SM) wanting to know what it would take to close the sale on the "2021 Ford" I had inquired about, replied that I was still waiting on call from SR
- 7/15 - email from SM stating to disregard previous email
- 7/16 - email follow-up from SA inquiring if I had been contacted by SR, replied I had not and with questions regarding ADM, x-plan, other deals and mentioned my ability to change dealerships if they did not want to answer my questions
- 7/16 - email from SA stating my questions/concerns would be passed on
- 7/18 - I emailed SA & SM stating I understand people are buy but I have yet to be contacted by a SR and restated I would move my reso if they preferred, re-asked the same questions, no response
- 7/19 - auto email from general manager (GM) stating how personally involved he was and asking how he could help. encouraged to contact him through email or cell, replied that I have still yet to be contacted, by basically anyone, I understood that I was one of probably 100 reservations and at this point I would definitely be placing my order with a different dealership
- 7/20 - as of today, I still have yet to be contacted by anyone outside of the SA

I am thinking that me bringing up the ability to move my reso, and coupled with the ADM questions, signaled that I was going to shop around for the best deal. They probably figure they have 100 other reservations with less educated buyers and can let one slip away.

I was assigned Sam Pack Five Star. Did not see other options. I have not purchased from a Ford dealer so this will be a new adventure.
