DFW Area - Ford Dealership recommendations

I’m going to post a link to a group of Austin area guys that are looking for a dealer to give us all a good deal. Maybe we could join forces and find a volume dealer willing to give all 20+ of us a deal? I’m not opposed to driving a few hours out of my way for a deal similar to Granger. Input?

I’m only 25 min from Decatur, maybe they will accommodate all of us dfw buyers, plus I’m in a forum of Austin buyers that are looking for a deal. I reserved with Five Star Ford of Dallas. My family has purchased multiple vehicles with them back when they were Five Star Ford of Plano without issue. No markups or dealer addons to any of our purchases. Haven't been there since they changed locations though. Asked a Sales Manager about pricing and x-plan for the Bronco and got an immediate response.

"No dealer markup on reservations, if X-plan pricing will become available from Ford, I will guarantee it for you as well, please don't hesitate to reach out for any other questions

An hour north here. Looks like Decatur is the closest dealer committing to MSRP for reservations. Called my Reservation Dealership and got an elaborate explanation about how the market supply and allocation would dictate final price....... Needless to say on the market for a different Dealer.

An update on my experience with Five Star: tldr: communication is non-existent, not a good experience at all, will be moving my reso when time to order

- 7/13 - email from sales assistant (SA) confirming email, replied confirming
- 7/14 - auto email congratulating me on my reservation
- 7/14 - email from SA confirming phone # and statement saying sales rep (SR) will call, replied confirming
- 7/15 - auto email from sales manger (SM) wanting to know what it would take to close the sale on the "2021 Ford" I had inquired about, replied that I was still waiting on call from SR
- 7/15 - email from SM stating to disregard previous email
- 7/16 - email follow-up from SA inquiring if I had been contacted by SR, replied I had not and with questions regarding ADM, x-plan, other deals and mentioned my ability to change dealerships if they did not want to answer my questions
- 7/16 - email from SA stating my questions/concerns would be passed on
- 7/18 - I emailed SA & SM stating I understand people are buy but I have yet to be contacted by a SR and restated I would move my reso if they preferred, re-asked the same questions, no response
- 7/19 - auto email from general manager (GM) stating how personally involved he was and asking how he could help. encouraged to contact him through email or cell, replied that I have still yet to be contacted, by basically anyone, I understood that I was one of probably 100 reservations and at this point I would definitely be placing my order with a different dealership
- 7/20 - as of today, I still have yet to be contacted by anyone outside of the SA

I am thinking that me bringing up the ability to move my reso, and coupled with the ADM questions, signaled that I was going to shop around for the best deal. They probably figure they have 100 other reservations with less educated buyers and can let one slip away.

I placed my order 7/24 and I have been getting all kinds of contact info from 5 Star Ford in North Richland Hills. I had done some research were ranked #2 in the state for customer satisfaction and service.

One other piece of advice: Don't limit yourself to just this state, you may want to consider other states as well. When I was looking at Jeep Rubicon Wranglers, the difference was $10k between TX delaers and Idaho dealers.

Great information, thank you. With 25 Ford dealers in the DFW area I just looked at those closet to me to start, some good, some scary information. Looks like the last three dealers in red are to be avoided like the plague.

I have no previous dealings with any of the Ford dealers, however Park Cities Ford was selected in my reservation, and they reached out first thing the next morning to congratulate me on the reservation. They seem very excited about the new Bronco, no mention of ADM, but we didn't get deep into things.

I’ve been getting my 2013 Raptor SVT serviced at Park Cites Ford, didn’t buy it from them, but have no complaints from the service side of the dealership. My WildTrak reservation is with Park Cities Ford due to location, got a call from them the morning after and a follow up email. Plan to proceed with them unless something unforeseen happens. Good luck to all of the North Texas Bronco folks, looking forward to seeing updates on your builds and experiences. Peace
