I would be wary of Grapevine. They tack on about $2K in dealer adds (wheel locks, paint protection and a gps tracker)
I just confirmed with the General manager at Grand Prairie Ford that he will not be charging ADM (Additional dealer mark up)and is not sure but believes a $500 rebate from Ford. Additional add ons are optional.

I am working with Grapevine Ford, I have nothing but good to say. Ask for Gary Vogel, he is my POC. Great employee, always returns my calls and sends new intel the minute he gets it.

Same here

I placed my order 7/24 and I have been getting all kinds of contact info from 5 Star Ford in North Richland Hills. I had done some research were ranked #2 in the state for customer satisfaction and service.
A sales assistant at Five Star in NRH emailed me pretty soon after I entered my reservation and said a salesperson would contact me. She followed up a few days later and I told her I hadn’t heard from anyone. She said she’d tell her manager. A month later as I wasn’t sweating it and still heard nothing. Left a voicemail for their new car sales director a week ago just to get a few questions answered (are they charging reservation orders msrp, will they have a bronco to walk around before ordering, can you spell out the process for me - all stuff they should be able to answer). Never heard from him. Called yesterday and a salesman who sounded like he was 20 came to the phone, blamed covid, I asked the questions and he couldn’t answer. He spouts off how enthusiasts will buy them sight unseen. Said we’ll know more in December. They need to get their crap together.

I share your pain in the fact that information is very limited. There are no good color swatches - official pictures are computer generated, no clue to what the interior is like, and no complete options list with prices. Given that, when I went to 5 Star Ford several weeks ago and talked to a salesman, they were as clueless as the rest of the general public. I don't blame the dealership as much as I do Ford for not having the info available. The best thing to do at this time is get your info on the Texas Buyers List in this forum.

I agree Ford has some blame. I got on the list this morning.

I don't have a DFW dealer selected yet but here is the research I've done so far. I checked the the five closest Ford dealers:

I'm encouraged by these two dealers since they at least have the link to the Ford Bronco reservation site:
Bob Tomes Ford in Mckinney
https://www.bobtomesford.com/new-ford-bronco-mckinney-tx.html
Member @Buster has good things to say about Bob Tomes Ford in Mckinney.

Stanley Ford in Pilot Point
I've wondered if this small town dealer may be good to deal with, does anyone know?
https://www.stanleyfordpilotpoint.com/reserve-your-bronco.html#infoSection

These two dealers only have a "Contact Us for More Information"
(I'll speculate that if you need me to call you and you do not post a link to the Ford reservation website you're looking for an excuse to overcharge me on the deposit and ADM's fees.)
AutoNation Ford Frisco
https://www.autonationfordfrisco.com/ford-bronco.htm
Grapevine Ford
https://www.grapevineford.com/ford-reviews/2021-bronco.htm
Grapevine Ford has earned negative comments from two members, @MardiGrasTexan and @BlueBronco.

Also, Grapevine Ford is now building a new location in Prosper but I may not want to go there even though they are the closest with the negitive comments on Grapevine Ford.

Use the search function, not sure where, someone reported a bad experience, ymmv.

More info...

Great information, thank you. With 25 Ford dealers in the DFW area I just looked at those closet to me to start, some good, some scary information. Looks like the last three dealers in red are to be avoided like the plague.

We are going with Bob Tomes Ford in Mckinney. Seems to be a well thought of dealership and is in our area. They were responsive regarding the pre-order process. December sitting down with them for the actual order will tell us a lot more so stay tuned...

I placed my reservation with Bob Tomes in Mckinney mid Aug and have not heard a thing from them. I placed a res today with Granger and got a response within an hour. I'll get the out the door price from Granger and see if Tomes will match but, at 2k under invoice I seriously doubt it. I would rather wait and get a better deal.

Did you ever call Bob Tomes and ask about their pricing policy, No ADM, MSRP, hopefully less and will they accept X-Plan?

No, I did not. I am not going to be the aggressor. If they want my business they can reach out as other dealers have. I will just build it online when avail and see their price.

@Sean47 and @North7 have you guys looked into the North Texas Buyers Club. Pooling our reservations to negotiate price comparable to Granger.
