My reservation is with Bob Tomes right now, but I'll be switching as soon as we have the finalized group buy information. Getting any information from them is like pulling teeth. Really wish the new Prosper Ford dealership was up and running to see if they would be any better than the other Collin County area Ford dealerships that are generally terrible.

Just called Autonation Ford in Arlington. The salesman didnā€™t know what X-Plan was and Iā€™m not sure he even knew a new Bronco was coming out... He said heā€™d message his manager and get back to me. Iā€™ll post an update

Staying with Bob Tomes in Mckinney Tx unless we find a valid reason to switch. We will drop in on the dealership soon to get a feel of their Bronco knowledge or lack thereof. and ask about their pricing structure regarding same. Probably will need to corral a Sales Manager of some type.

Prosper Ford is closest to me so I've been keeping my eye on them. They are owned by Grapevine Ford, which seems to be a mixed bag for reviews, I'm hoping Prosper Ford turns out better.

Edit: Autonation Ford in Arlington just called me back and stated that Ford may not offer X-Plan on the Bronco. I then asked if they do, will you honor it when I order my Bronco from your dealership.... What did they say...? Uh, thatā€™s a hard ā€œNOā€ my good man. At least not while itā€™s still a hot item.

First, it has been confirmed several times that the Bronco is x-plan eligable, however, it is up to each dealer to participate, so you dealer is not being up front and honest (surprise). Second, just sit tight for a bit longer, we have until 10/31 to move our reservations and will have an announcement soon.

Good luck! Their Bronco ā€˜specialistā€™ is their online sales manager Greg. Iā€™m going on 4 weeks and multiple emails to him without a response.

I don't have a DFW dealer selected yet but here is the research I've done so far. I checked the the five closest Ford dealers:

I'm encouraged by these two dealers since they at least have the link to the Ford Bronco reservation site:
Bob Tomes Ford in Mckinney
https://www.bobtomesford.com/new-ford-bronco-mckinney-tx.html
Member @Buster has good things to say about Bob Tomes Ford in Mckinney.

Stanley Ford in Pilot Point
I've wondered if this small town dealer may be good to deal with, does anyone know?
https://www.stanleyfordpilotpoint.com/reserve-your-bronco.html#infoSection

These two dealers only have a "Contact Us for More Information"
(I'll speculate that if you need me to call you and you do not post a link to the Ford reservation website you're looking for an excuse to overcharge me on the deposit and ADM's fees.)
AutoNation Ford Frisco
https://www.autonationfordfrisco.com/ford-bronco.htm
Grapevine Ford
https://www.grapevineford.com/ford-reviews/2021-bronco.htm
Grapevine Ford has earned negative comments from two members, @MardiGrasTexan and @BlueBronco.

Also, Grapevine Ford is now building a new location in Prosper but I may not want to go there even though they are the closest with the negitive comments on Grapevine Ford.
Prosper Ford

You can also check out Paul Murrey Ford in Kaufman, TX. At the time I talked to him he had about 30 reservations. He is a good guy, and I currently have my reservation there, but he will be selling them for MSRP. Im looking for better then MSRP, as maybe, we all are. I asked also if he would accept the X-Planā€¦he goes on to say yes, but his Ford guy is telling him that the Bronco will not be eligible for the X-Plan. I haven't talked to him since, but here was his last text message to me:

"If I deliver 2021 Broncos out of my dealership it will be MSRP. Iā€™m in business and thatā€™s what they are going for. Thatā€™s a fair deal. If I had one on my lot that wasnā€™t sold a dealer would give that. I understand if you want to move your delivery if you find one cheaper while shopping on the internet. I have about 30 so far right now that I will deliver to old "loyal" customers."

I just love the passive-aggressive "loyal customers" comment.

Hello to the only other Arlington member lol. Go to Don Davis, my buddy and I are buying our Broncos there. I have purchased over 10 Fords from there. Ask for Larry Hinton and tell him Mr. Godfrey sent you.

Grapevine Ford said no ADM and will accept X-Plan. Again, this is just talk. I need to see it on paper myself.
When I reached out to Grapevine Ford about X-plan they said they were honoring it. That was before Ford pulled it. They have had good communication whenever I've reached out. Gary Vogel is the person that I texted with.

Re: Dealerships and changes
Have any Members had good or bad dealings with Five Star Ford? Their location on GBush in Plano/North Dallas would be very convenient. Currently at Bob Tomes which still looks good as of now. Sam Pack owns 4 Ford dealerships in the area so may or may not have any pull on getting new Broncos delivered sooner than later. Also, any speculation or knowledge regarding slowing the process of delivery to the customer if a reservation dealership is changed somehow?

Phil first the switching dealerships and slowing down delivery can get a little foggy. You still keep your reservation time stamp, however depending on how Ford allocates Broncos between dealerships is a different story. All in all, I hope it won't impact delivery too much either way.

Has Bob Tomes said how they are going to price it? (above, below, msrp)

So far saying that they will sell at MSRP. We will hold them to that.
