Go unlock your door, put your key fob back in the house or at least 5 feet away from the bronco. Get in, see if it starts. Likely fell under the seat, between Jockeying between transport, dealership, M.A.P accessories? Or the mountain storage lot, seasonal name change? 🤣
This was a great idea, so I tried it but I get the "No Key Detected" alert o_O

j/k. pretty sure every new car gets issued two keys, mistake or loss somewhere.
Yeah, I know it's a mistake and the dealer said he'd get me another one but he's saying he can't get a "Bronco" fob... that's the bitch.

I wonder if the lack of keyfob is tied to some random mystery box that's zip tied to the underside of the fender or something.

When I took delivery of mine, one was handed to me directly which I expected as they need a loose one to remove it from the carrier, and the other was shrinkwapped with all the papers that come with it (Manual, warranty forms, etc.). Did you get those papers/warranty forms?

I only had one. They told me to come back in a few days. Took them a few HOURS to program it. I might be crazy but the new one feels like the plastic is different/ cheaper

Yeah, I have everything else I'm supposed to have.

As I mentioned, I do have the other key... but it's just the key... no fob.

I recall that this same dealer only had one key for a Fusion I bought there a few years ago and I had to come back the next week on "key day" or whatever when the guys was there to program new keys.

It’s a great Idea, but you would already know if the “lost” key fob was in the car because it wouldn’t lock and the horn would sound twice if you locked it and closed the door. Honk, honk, unlock….

The ding dongs at the dealership lost it!

You must have two keys to access some of the vehicles features. Including programming a third key.

I picked up my Bronco about 7 weeks ago now. Got it from Healey Ford in Goshen, NY. At the time, they said that it only came with one key fob, probably due to either chip shortage or manufacturing issues. It's the special "Bronco" key fob, instead of the generic "Ford," but essentially just says Bronco on it.

I was initially told I could "just come back next week" but they haven't been able to get me a second one. Has this happened to anyone else? Just wondering how long I might have to wait, or just get a generic Ford fob.
The other one should be in a yellow envelope with a physical manual

I only received 1 Fob and no keys. The dealership said the transit company lost the 2nd Fob and both keys. Almost 6 weeks and still nothing. Dealership blames @Ford Motor Company on my delays.

The dealer lost my key fobs. Per Ford policy, they would not give me my bronco unless they had 2 new key fobs.
