Did everyone get the "your Bronco order has been confirmed" email from Ford?

I placed my reservation months ago and the dealership called this morning and told me that Ford was accepting orders, so I ran down and placed my order. Ford sent me an order confirmation email. How do I know where I landed in the build schedule? My reservation number was 1048XXXX, but since I paid my deposit today and have an order confirmation then I would think I would be close to the front? What say ye?

I would say that there are a lot of threads to read re: "what is my place in line" as well as the "how many units will be built" genre of questions.

LSS, BLUF, TLDR - nobody will know exactly until May. That window estimate will be as fluid and leaky as an 80 year old window in the Caribbean.

Yeah, really. It doesnt matter when you put your order in, it matters when you reserved. You're months later than many, and after the 2021 cutoff.

Unless something monumental happens, like a 30% to 35% conversion rate on reservations, then that's the unfortunate situation.

Any reservation that is post-dated Sept 20th or later is automatically put into a "hold" status in the system. Your order is valid, and will remain that way until it's built or canceled, but your vehicle will be in the "2nd wave" of allocations.

That means you'll end up with a MY22 vehicle, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Edit: You've got about 177,121 people ahead of you in line, and Ford is only going to be able to make 85,000 units [at maximum, most likely will be 75k] for the first wave of allocations. There are people that ordered on the 3rd day of reservations that will be in the same boat as you.

The 2021 allocation formula cutoff the as t is. The MY21 production cutoff is fluid based on commodity and availability constraints.

I also have a 7/14 reservation and I am on the borderline of possibly not making the cut for a Bronco this year. October reservation will most likely be Spring 2022.
