I prefer the gloss black accents, mirror caps, and painted door handles of the WT. I think it’s a lazy change to accommodate trying to match to the MIC roof instead of the originally intended painted black mod roof.

At what point is there zero reason to order a Wildtrak? They downgraded the trim to a painted black emblem and a painted grill. Oh, and tan cloth

Biggest news for me was that the slide-out tailgate is:

1. Awesome
2. Late availability 2022
3. Factory installed option

Which means, for the time being - you need to '99 your order to wait and get it if you want it.

I suppose you can get it over the parts counter eventually - but I was really hoping this is a Dealer-Channel option for DIY install, and I'm not sure that it will be.

Also,

1. Wildtrak = worthless
2. Ford couldn't give 2 shits about our whining about allocation right now (no surprise)

2.7 is still standard along with sasquatch. That’s why I’m sticking with it but man none of these changes actually favor the customer unless they speed up production SIGNIFICANTLY.
