Again, donā€™t like it? Guess what. Donā€™t buy it. Complaining ainā€™t gonna fix it
I think complaining about products actually does get them fixed sometimes.

Itā€™s pretty normal for the bolts and hinges to have ā€œoversprayā€ I have seen hundreds (thousands?) of doors off cars and it it very common across lots of manufacturers. In terms of ā€œorange Peelā€ the Broncos I have seen look about average to me. The reduction of VOCs in paint is good for the environment and our health, not so good for glass smooth paint. Almost everything I see these days has some level of texture to the paint. Bottom line, we all have spent to much time waiting and obsessing over our Broncos, I just want to drive mine soon!

Not only are these preproduction units, but itā€™s not uncommon for this particular area and many other areas to have a light dusting of paint and not full coverage.

Look at basically any car on the road. Itā€™s the same. The Bronco isnā€™t some unicorn. Itā€™s a production vehicle that will be built just like every other production vehicleon the market.

I finally saw the Bronco in person today and loved it.
It looks like they may have cut some corners with the paint job tho? Itā€™s not typical for a car from factory to have bolts painted over and over spray or under sprayed parts. Im used to seeing that on wrecked and cheaply repaired cars but not brand new cars?

Could it just be a demo thing? šŸ˜¬

This forum is full of the most nitpicky "enthusiasts" that I have ever seen in an automotive community. šŸ¤£
1. The enthusiasts were overrun about 12 months ago, so not so much an enthusiast site anymore.
2. If I'm going to spend $40k+ on a vehicle, I'd probably be nitpicky as well.
3. I didn't notice that, nor would I look for it, but #2 still rings true.

I went and saw those yesterday also. One of the questions that I had was the finish on the door bolts that would need to be removed for door removal. I am fairly certain that the bolts requiring you to put a wrench to them are plated and not painted. As far as the fender bolts, looked to be all painted.
Anyway, I was totally impressed with the vehicles. I drive a 2008 Tundra so it might not take much! A jeep pulled up as I was leaving the event and I can say that there is no contest between the two as far as looks are concerned.

All this. Also I didnā€™t notice myself... people saw my pics with the doors off and literally asked me about it.

Thatā€™s right, for its Jeep competition thereā€™s no comparison. I was also impressed with the vehicles thatā€™s why Iā€™m going back today in a different city šŸ˜†
