Called the dealer and thry said it only went in that way because of the commodity restraint issue and not to worry my order is a sasquatch it just shows up that way bc of the software.
Did he also say "don't worry it only says Bronco Sport cuz of the software"?

So ordered my bronco this past wednesday. Ordered a base with the sasquatch package. Recieved my confirmation email from Ford the following day and the email lists the options as the base but with the steelie wheels. Called the dealer and thry said it only went in that way because of the commodity restraint issue and not to worry my order is a sasquatch it just shows up that way bc of the software. All the paperwork i did at the dealer said sasquatch and priced out that way, but the email from ford concerned me.

Should I contact ford to confirm? And who do I contact? The number on the ford website just sent me to some marketing person and then got just sent off to some menu with irrelevant options and hung up.
We placed our order with our dealer last Thursday, sending the 'Bronco specialist' all the information requested to confirm our order with Ford. The next day Ford emailed our order confirmation which was not even close to our order except it was for a new Bronco...contacting them in the morning to get it straight or contacting Ford customer service or another dealer in the area to switch if needed. We all must be pro-active to get what we are paying good money for. I will follow up how we resolved this issue with the dealer as soon as we know.

I'm having this issue too - converted on 1/22. I checked my ford acct. this morning, and it now says "in-store order" instead of reservation. It's coming up as a bone-stock base, which isn't the correct trim let alone config.

...rant begin...

I texted the sales guy today... he said not to worry and "that is just on the reservation end". I'm not sure what that means, given it's evident on the Ford side that it's been converted. I'm being kind of a Karen, but I'm losing my patience with this dealership. They're doing nothing to assuage my lack of confidence in them; since I reserved with them, they've been pretty sure about their answers to all the questions I've had... right up until the moment where a casual search leads them to do a 90' turn on what they said. I don't expect anything different this time. I mean, I get that they've got to do their day job of selling cars and may not have time to obsessively research bronco stuff, but I'm surprised at little they know about the bronco. I'm also annoyed about how sure they are in all of their wrong answers.

AT LEAST I just have the $100 deposit riding on this. If it turns out they can't submit an order correctly and it's not just a glitch in the matrix, I guess I can refuse delivery.

...rant end...

It may just say Sasquatch package, and not go into all that includes. I've seen that on several other Fords I've ordered. But, I understand if you must confirm that with Ford. I'm the same way. If I have a question in my mind, I have to get the answer from the horses mouth no matter how many others give me the answer. Good luck, I hope you can get a straight answer soon.

With every special order I've made I had the order sheet with me when I left. But, I have never ordered a vehicle that I won't see for approx. 18 months. Or one that you send to the manufacturer, and it just lay there that long either.

I had a similar extremely frustrating experience with the Ford Dealer in Duluth, Minnesota. My original plan was to buy it there, my home state, and road trip it back here to Washington. I got a bit "Karen" with them too, but this has been super important to me and I was surprised how little they knew.

I ended up changing my reservation to Titus-Will Ford in Tacoma, I ordered mine with ease in person. I see you are in Washington state so if you still want to change your reservation it may be worth the trip to Tacoma just to get it done right.

I like Titus Will, I went with them back in '12 in Oly and they did me a pretty solid deal. I 100% would switch after this most recent experience... I called FoMoCo, though, and it sounds like once you've converted a reservation to an order you're locked in :/

Oh that is maddening! well hang in there....they told me at Titus-Will here that I have until March 19th to change anything...since that's the date they actually submit all our orders to the manufacturer, so you hopefully still have time to go over exactly what you want ordered. Good luck...I'm glad I'm not the only one that went through this.
