Did you own a Jeep before Bronco?

How many here never owned a Jeep prior to buying a Bronco? Just curious.
I don’t have anything against Jeeps, but never considered owning one. I ordered my. Bronco as soon as I saved enough to purchase.

Never owned a Jeep, never gone off-road, bought a Bronco 3 weeks ago. Never considered a Jeep. The Bronco was somewhat of a...less than rational....decision. My wife loves it.

I borrowed a Jeep Wrangler (TJ) long-term while my truck was in the shop. If they still made them like they used to, I'd have no qualms about buying a Jeep - all they had to do was keep updating that old 4.0!
A huge part of getting the Bronco was the Mazda-derived 2.3L engine. If you count its lineage, it's nearly as old as the Jeep 4-liter. I would never own a new Mopar/FCA product, but I would also never own an EcoBoost that wasn't based on the old Mazda engines. Too many problems to count with either of them.

Kind of... I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, but not a Wrangler.

I did test drive a Wrangler as I eagerly awaited my Bronco, but quickly determined I had made the right decision.

My bronco is much better than my jeep, but it’s also somewhat subjective, except for the death wobble. Objectively better there.

I rode in one, once. I thought overall it was a neat idea. I guess that thought was rolling around in the back of my head for awhile...

I’ve owned 3 1980’s Jeep CJ’s and traded a ‘22 Gladiator in on the Bronco. Still own a ‘98 TJ. Jeeps have their place, but the Bronco is a much better all around vehicle. I do sometimes miss the Gladiator pickup bed.

Owned a Grand Cherokee 20 years ago. Everything that could go wrong went wrong right around 85k. Always wanted a Wrangler, but said I’d never own Jeep again. Rented a Wrangler on trip to Napa 5 years ago and wished another manufacturer would make this vehicle. Enter the G6. Dad passed away recently and I have the “if not now, when” bug. Ordered in April, get mine next week.

I’ve owned 2 International Scouts, 2 Jeeps, and 4 Broncos. Not in that order. I’m not even sure of the order. I know a Scout was first.
