Soft tops are exclusively 2.7s. This certainly makes you think the hold up with them is the 2.7

it seems quite a few 2.7s are shipping. I wonder if they are using caution on the early batches to see if the range needs to be expanded.

I've pulled everyone's data to help with your query.

Well, all of the soft tops are 2.7l (so maybe engine issues) and all of the 2.3l are MIC (need new MIC) and then the remaining MICs could be a mix of needing hard tops and/or engine issues.

Just a heads up if anyone is following like I have been. Which I think is most of us. My palsapp updated to dispatched today. I put in the freight bill and it was still showing only my vin. But I noticed to the left it had a trip # and when I put that in I saw all the origins and destinations! (Only two were broncos)

I was just reading about another 2.7 liter engine with valve issues that just shut off on the highway and now this guy is waiting on Ford to replace his engine. Do you think this is really what we are on Dirt Mountain for? If the 4drs and the soft tops that are left are all 2.7 liter engines then it would all make sense.

I have a 2.7 liter engine. To the other 31 people, please reply to this post what engine you have.

I did get all of the emails within the last week... "built" and "shipped"... and tracker dates updated with appropriate ETAs. I received my assembly line picture yesterday... so things are looking up for me.

Per Peugeot I was officially "released" this past Sunday or Monday.

My dirt mountain bronco is finally home! It’s been stuck there since beginning of July. Base 2.7 with Sasquatch. Thanks Ford for making my dream come true!
